# Overview

As stated in the introduction, The OnChain Alliance is a community of communities first and foremost. Thus far several projects have come together to form what is know as the Genesis Members of the alliance. These various projects came together with a want to do better after witnessing bad actors and scams time and time again in the space.

We believe by coming together we are stronger, as in life, where there is strength in numbers.

All these projects have vowed to supporting one and other in all facets of Crypto. Whether that be in helping in development, forging mutually beneficially business partnerships or anything else.

Once agreements were made it was time to further strengthen these bonds by introducing our products and services. These will be things we can offer to new, fledgling protocols. Looking to grow in the space and become part of something bigger than themselves. Whilst ensuring through our tiered system of membership that those working hardest to spread positivity and value can rise through the ranks and reap the rewards of their labour.

This Tiered approach acts almost as a vetting system where newer projects can gain exposure and grow as they meet certain criteria within The OCA.

The tiers go as follows -

* Founding Members
* Genesis Members
* Alpha Members
* Emerging Members

We will dive deeper into these tiers in the coming section.
